Young People and Money

Jeannette has done a day training course about young people and money. The course was sponsored by the FSA and is linked to the Every Child Matters initiative. It was designed to enable youth work professionsals to help NEET young people begin to understand and manage their personal finances. The course covered:
  • Understanding the psychology of young people and money
  • Helping young people make the most of their money
  • Enabling young people to make informed decisions about saving and borrowing
  • Helping young people manage debt

Quiz Night
Following the success of our fundraising Quiz Night last October, another event is being held on Wednesday, 25th February at The Cherrytree Pub, Mersea Rd, Colchester at 7.30 pm.
Tickets are £5 per person and include a buffet and a ticket for the prize draw.
All proceeds to Colchester Korban Project

Another Successful Sleep Out 2008

Richard, Jeannette, Kevin and Jessica took part in a sleep out at Chelmsford to raise funds for Korban. It was a cold night at the end of November and was hosted by Chess. We raised over £800.
